Awesome place to come in, nerd out, and just have a good time. I do miss the games in the bar top itself, but this relocate was set up for more board and card game setups so just a different direction, not a bad thing though. The bartenders are super friendly, the drinks were unique and poured well, and the decor was an absolute slam dunk. Keep in mind, you can bring in your own games or pieces if they don't have what you're looking for!

2024 Edit: I need to take new pics but I started with a couple. The Tabletop Tap has reopened after closing for a bit and now has the cutest bathrooms and a little more sitting space. No more cheese curds though We got there sometime after 7:00 on a Friday night and that was definitely the time to be there, because within an hour or so most seats were full and if you wanted to play games you’d have to sit at the bar. As it happened, we got a booth because of how early we got there. The drinks I had tasted great and the cheese curds were all right. Very good game selection!

Went here for the first time with my friends and loved it. Fun atmosphere, great bar tenders, and the drinks and beer options were great! They have a whole menu of board games to play while you’re there and old school video games as well as a few arcade games. Looking forward to going back

Checking out the new The Tabletop Tap location. I like it! It's bigger, more open, and feels more like a bar. (And there's hard liquor behind the bar, which I don't remember being at the old location.) Gone are the multigame consoles built into the bar (understandable, for lots of reasons), but several stand-up arcade units line the walls, including a cool Warlords 4-player tabletop game, Asteroids, an old beer bar game, Frogger, a three-in-one Pac-Man/Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga machine, Joust, MortalKombat II, and Centipede. As before, there are geeky decorations all over the walls, but they seem more organized, less random than before. There are hooks and outlets at regular intervals beneath the bar rail. The booths look comfy and are spacious enough for four people to play a standard-sized board game. And of course, there is still a massive wall of games behind the bar for people to play. There is an enticing neon sign saying "Arcade" that points down some space-carpeted stairs to a dark basement, but they were blocked by a velvet rope. Apparently there is some negotiation that needs to happen with the City of Englewood before that rope can be removed, but when that happens, that promises to be a very cool space. Like lots of responsible businesses, they now have a self-serve automatic water fountain. I like this trend, personally, but I can see where some might not. The music is good: mostly '80s; Duran Duran's "The Reflex" is playing as I write this, but it's not so loud that it's inhibiting conversation at all, though I can imagine that the place gets loud when busy. Nice place, and I'm glad to see it back better than ever.

This place is so much fun hanging with friends or going on a date! You can drink and play all sorts of games, and the music not so loud so you can hear each other speak. Definitely a keeper!

Been coming here since their first location. It’s of my favorite parts about Englewood. It seems they have been hosting more events/gatherings since moving. The walls are filled with cool nerdy decor and there is a lot of space for groups of various sizes to sit. The retro games are free to play which is always a hit. I really don’t know anywhere else like this bar and when I move away someday I will sorely miss it. It’s okay to bring your own board games and food! I also love the cocktails they added to the menu. Only suggestion: Double Dash for Mario Kart night sometime.

This place was awesome. The bartender, who's name I unfortunately didn't grab, was super excited to help me find a drink I may like. It was a lot of fun being able to play the N64 at the bar, we even had a few people rooting for us during Mario Party. They had a great selection of not only N64 games, but an impressive collection of board games, some being incredibly niche. Even the bathrooms are well thought out! The only thing that I believe could be improved upon is a couple of better food options.

Came here a few months ago. Good drink selection, awesome board games, and the underwater music from Mario in the bathroom was the chef’s kiss. Highly recommend.
